Since 1998, in the USA, all new cars have dual front airbags, but what about Mexico? Do new cars sold there have airbags? Do some and some don’t? Does the Mexican government have any auto safety laws?

Most manufacturers build vehicles for the markets around the world that do include airbags. Although they may not be standard equipment, they are made. Our database covers many vehicle that are not available here in the US, but elsewhere in the world and they too have airbags.

For almost 10 years now cheaper versions of the same cars may not mandatory but most cars may not mandatory.
