Japanese stocks rise, ignoring political concerns
Marketwatch: HONG KONG — Japanese stocks advanced early Thursday on gains in automakers such as Honda Motor Co. and Nissan Motor Co., as investors ignored possible political uncertainty in the wake of Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s impending resignation.
