What is the difference between a Volvo Penta v8 aq231a engine and a Chevy 305 small block?

I need to know the exact difference between the vp v8 and the chevy small block and if possible the reason.
I do understand that the cam is differant manifolds etc but what i want to know is it a standard intake manifold standard heads ,distributer.water pump pulleys etc etc
