will a chevy 350 engine fit in my 65 mustang with a ford 289? What would I have to change to get a running car

My friend has a rebuilt performance chevy 350 and hes selling it cheap and i need to get my stang running. What would need to be done? What parts are compatible/incompatible?

      Why? Cause a 390-460 will fit and stay Ford wih a little bit of modification.. KEEP IT FORD unless your talkin’ 1928-1954

      An msd ignition like an msd ignition like an msd6a should workmight have too fab up some motor mounts and change the tranny with chevy that.

      no!!! i have tryied it it did not fit plus if it did it would run crapy .
      a ford mustang is to nice to do that
