How to replace sticking ignition key tumbler 1997 Chevy truck?

1997 Chevy 4×4, key is well used, won’t even turn to acc’y hardly! How do I replace the tumblers and enjoy the benefits of radio and ease of being able to turn key without a LOT of jiggling? Thanks

      before going to all that trouble have a duplicate key made at your local lock smith. doesn’t sound like a lock tumbler problem as much as it does a bad key

      The ignition switch it might be worn too much or you could try spraying the key teeth might just be worn too much or you could try spraying the ignition switch it might be worn too much or you could try spraying the key teeth might be dry.

      just remeber..u wil have to change door locks if u chance ingntion bar..id say ur key is just wore out nout ur ingntion bar..
